In a coaching session, a client can expect a warm greeting followed by a conversation led by the client. The coach will ask thoughtful questions and surmise the goal of the session.

The difference between a life coach & a therapist is that a life coach sets clients up with short & long-term solutions for positive growth. Through life coaching, a client works with a coach to clarify goals, identify obstacles, & problematic behaviors & then create action plans to achieve desired results.
The process of life coaching takes the client’s current starting point as an acceptable neutral ground & is more action-based from that point onward. A life coach enables the recipient to take control of their life and take action to steer it toward their goals.

Dr. Amber covers a wide range of issues and types of coaching. She specializes in leadership, sex coaching, and ADHD and ASD coaching for women.
General life coaching focuses on anything: from working on grief, life transitions, or wedding planning to spirituality, parenting, or anxiety.

Unfortunately, life coaching is not covered by health insurance.
Dr. Amber does offer a sliding scale for a certain number of clients.
Multi-session discounts is also offered. Ask about our fees.

Dr. Amber has a Master of Arts & an Educational Doctorate in Leadership Studies. She has mentored leaders from various backgrounds. She will help you discover what type of leadership style best fits your personality and value system. She will help you understand many of the challenges female leaders must address and how to overcome those challenges. Dr. Amber will also guide you on how best to improve your skills & meet the needs of your "followers". Lastly, Dr. Amber believes in the power of soft people skills that can help every leader propel forward.

Dr. Amber will help you succeed at incorporating a manageable "work-life" balance while fulfilling your dream. She focuses on the ever-present "mom guilt", maintaining healthy relationships with friends & family, & how best to nurture a relationship with yourself. Together, you & Dr. Amber will work on schedules & time management, discover where outside help might be needed, & put aside that need for perfection in yourself and others. If necessary, Dr. Amber will also focus on "imposter syndrome", relieving stress, the power of vulnerability, & how to ask for help.
